Evo Security
Evo Security is a cybersecurity SaaS company that protects mid-size and small businesses from the number one form of cyber attack. Our specific focus is a sub-category of cybersecurity called Identity and Access Management (IAM), which includes technologies like multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and privileged access management (PAM). Basically, these technologies ensure that logins into networks and endpoints are secured, and once the user's identity is verified, the user's access is relegated to the least amount of privilege possible that doesn't cause friction in doing their job. At Evo, we've built each of these technologies from the ground up, then combined them into a single platform to make is easy and economic for mid and small businesses to manage and deploy. A fun fact about our company is that we hatched Evo Security from UT Austin's supercomputing center, The Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC), and was initially a technology transfer project. We've completely rebuilt the technology and no longer use anything from TACC, however we are honored that UT Austin remains a shareholder in Evo Security. Evo Security's origin and success story will forever be tied to this great institution.
